What files can AnyRedact redact?
AnyRedact redacts PDF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, and WebP files. You can cover information with a rectangle, circle, or polygon, then download a finished file.
Which identity numbers are detected automatically?
In PDF text, AnyRedact looks for common identity proofs such as SSN, PAN, Aadhaar, voter ID, passport numbers, and similar national IDs. You should still review every page. Scanned images are redacted by hand until OCR is offered later.
Are documents stored on the server?
No. Your file is never uploaded — AnyRedact opens, redacts, and exports it entirely in your browser. Only your account (email, credit balance, and usage/purchase history) lives on our server; the document itself never does.
Can I undo a downloaded redaction?
No. Bars, circles, and polygons are burned into the file you download. Confirm the preview before you save.
